Summer learning journey - Mexico

The reason why I pick this topic was because I really wanted to visit mexico one day, and to learn about mexico more. I would love to learn how to speak Spanish, It would be cool to do bull fighting too. What I learnt was that Mexico is the 14th largest country by land area, There are also 41 states in Mexico as well as the capital city. The president of Mexico is Enrique Pena Nieto.

  2. Buenos días Akosita,
Mi nombre es Tania and I am a Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator - I work in lots of different schools with teachers and learners who, like you, are using chromebooks for their learning and blogs to share their learning. I have been emailing with Rachel and she has told me all about The Summer Learning Journey, great that you have started and chosen your country. I have only been to Mexico for a day, I was in America and crossed the border into Tijuana to have a look around. I have heard that there are lots of nice places to visit in Mexico and some incredible historical sites, no doubt you will learn all about them as you continue your summer learning journey. I hope you learn some Spanish along the way.
    Adiós

  3. Hello Akosita!

What an awesome introduction to Mexico! Very well presented and written. Easy, simple to understand. Great work!

Hello, you don't know me yet, but I'm Mark, one of the teachers working on the Summer Learning Journey! I hope you're having a great holiday and am looking forward to reading more about what you learn about Mexico! If you'll have a look, you can see that not all the activities will be about your chosen country, but other countries as well, with opportunities to do lots of other kinds of things - not just writing.

I hope that your enjoy our programme and also enjoy the amazing weather we are currently having!

    Take care,

    Mark
