This week we learned about the differences between Christchurch and Auckland. One thing I learned was in Christchurch there was a massive earthquake and it damaged the art gallery. Because of this they have started putting their art up on the side of buildings. I also learnt that there is a man called Shigeru Ban who is a famous architect. He is well known around the world for designing temporary buildings. He helped the city of Christchurch to build temporary buildings so that those people who have been displaced have somewhere to go.

ReplyDeleteKia ora. I have lived in Auckland and am ow living in Christchurch. One thing that I notice that is different in Christchurch from Auckland is the weather. In Christchurch we can have very cold days and Auckland is lovely and warm in comparison.
