Walt: think critically about what we read.
This week our literacy class did something quiet different. We had to create an advice presentation helping those who find it hard to choose over a Garmin or a Fit bit or does not know anything about it.
This blog is a record of my learning from Point England Primary School through to Tamaki College.

Team 4 trade fair
Walt:add one main idea per paragraph.
This term we are learning about Trade and Enterprise. Trade and Enterprise is about creating and selling products. We have been broken up into 6 different business groups to learn about what it takes to be a businessman or woman.
As part of our terms topic we had a trade fair. Trade fair is different from a market because a market is where you buy things but a trade fair is where you take orders. Me and my partners product was about ukuleles.

For the trade fair my friends and I have created a business called Royal rumble. We were selling our product for 4.50 pt but when people came and were looking at it they thought it was expensive but we stopped and asked how much would they take it for some of them said 2pt and I made a deal.
I’m really excited about our market day coming up in week 8! We are hoping to make lots of PTs!!

My C.V
To whom it may concern
Netbook charger
I am applying for the position of netbook charger.
I am perfect for this job because at home my two brothers and my dad would tell me to go and plug in each of their laptops and charge them and I do.I can take charge of plugging in netbook chargers because I do it alot at home. I can take responsibility of the work that I do and that is why I believe I am perfect for this job.
Yours sincerely,

If I had one million dollars
Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words.
If I had one million dollars and I only had to spend it at the mall in Sylvia park I will be shopping till midnight! That will be fun, eating every single hour and you can buy whatever you want, help out your family with the rent. Also I would buy a whole lot of food for the poor people.
At toy world I will get toys, mini car that my nephews and nieces can fit in. I will get me 3-4 enormous cuddly teddy bear because every time I sit down with my nephews and watch cartoon the commercial will come on with some toys and they will ask if I could get them the toys but I will say yap ill get it but ill turn my head and whisper next year.
From JB HI-FI I would get the digital camera, Samsung galaxy i phone 5-6, and a apple laptop. I would get these things because I have wanted these ever since the start of the year but my dad says I am too young to have a phone and a laptop.
I would get 5 pairs of Jordan's for me and for each of my family and would get some Nike’s, air maxes, and adidas and with the leftover money I would give some to my family and my teachers.
If I really had one million dollars and it came true I will be thrilled with happiness and full excited. I would just stop worrying about things and just buy it, put money in and boom! got already don't have to do anything just kickback and relax.
